About Me

The Poet Person Ah, who am I? I'm an extremly active teeneger and i'm average everything. I'm involved with football, national honor society, science honor society, Business Professionals of America, Science Olympiad, Quiz Bowl, student counsel, and i am also one of the first male s at my school, as well as being actively involved with my church through drama, choir, and teaching lessons to the youth. Previously I've also been in baseball, track, power lifting, basketball, and softball, and currently have some plans to possible continue softball during the summer times. I've also gone to Jamaica for a missionary trip, and I am currently planning on 2 different missions trips for this year, one to Jamaica, and one to Detroit to help the Arabic communities. I've been an active leader in both my school and my church, and i am often asked to do some duty for one or the other. For my church i've been charge with trying to set up the youth program, and with teaching the youth, and through my school i'm presideing class president. I'm a pretty nice guy if i don't say so myself, it's hard to get under my skin, and I'm not too bad looking either. Ah, and i'm an old fashioned type gentleman (much to the distaste of some people). I enjoy talking with my friends, reading, playing stratgy games (perfered with a friend, but those computerized ones are ok...), and writing poetry. Hmmm. that about covers me, but i suppose if there's something to be added or a question ask me through the contact page or leave a message in the guest book.

The Spawning of Midnight Poetry Jr....

Once upon a midnight dreary,
I found my Webpage was falling weak and weary,
And suddenly it was gone.........

Thus was the fate of Midnight Poetry Sr., and many people were quite upset as the host of the elder site closed down.

I gave up writing, and enjoying my poetry, and wanting to share it until I wrote a poem I entitled "Burnt." The flame that was intended to cause my heart so much pain, actually burned also inside me my passion again...

Again I could feel what I had written, again the pain was tangible in my mind and my heart, and again I realized why I would subject myself to Love's mercy.

But instead of the usual awkward feelings, it took hold of me much differently. It partook in me a piece of everything, of every thought and dream, of even every glance.

New emotions arose at every situation I encountered. Mostly in part to the fact I've never lived in sound mind before... I began to understand what I really wanted, and what I really needed, and no longer did I curse God for love, but instead myself. Because no longer does the word mean an action, or emotion to me. instead it's a state of being, a stage of life that I know can never end.

Nor do I wish it to.. It's a grim realization to realize you are lonely, and yet so utterly in love. But such is the human condition I've resigned myself too, and such is my punishment for my crimes.... But I digress slightly for the matters at hand.

It was through this love, I rediscovered, with a much firmer and drastic boldness, the words my heart set's to paper, the words that set even my own cheeks ablaze in amazement, that such words come from me and accurately describe the human conditions.

Midnight Poetry Sr. was just like the grandparents of today, holding back the most embarrassing moments, the most embarrassing thoughts, but it's spawn will not be so modest. Midnight Poetry Jr. will not be held back by those restrains. Life isn't always peachy, and love is never as glamorous as people make it out to be.

But as I've resigned myself to these conditions, as a slave, I shall in turn share with you the feelings that abound within.

So, I must finnaly say, with no more ado, WELCOME BACK MY FRIENDS TO THE SHOW THAT NEVER ENDS!!!! Come inside, oh come inside!
